Cabin Life – February 24, 2011

Work continues on the road. Nicki’s guys have pipe up to the second tank, but it’s not connected and they still have to run the float wires to the main tank. We want this so if for some reason our radio float switch fails the road will not have to be torn up again. Next week they are supposed to get a tractor and fill in the ditches and put some gravel on the road. Dennis worked on the road, but the ditches are too big to have our tractor fill the in.

We found the Auction house. It is the rental unit for Pawlicki. It’s supposed to have a $25,000 starting bid. We also noticed on the website that Pawlicki’s house in in Foreclosure. Even the values they were selling at seemed a fair price, around $150,000.00. Since Ed Fogal was looking to buy a rental property in the area we told him about it, but we never heard back from them. Here’s a link to the auction.

This weekend it is supposed to be really cold, with snow levels to 2,000 feet. It’s the talk of the town at Ramona Post Office. We know our family and friends back east really couldn’t care, and certainly wouldn’t be looking forward to it.

  1. Guest House looks lonely so I guess we will have to come soon! Let us know your schedule and which weekend plus works for you both. Love you!

  2. Hi,
The snow looks pretty but I have seen enough of that. Hopefully they will get the pipes done and finish the road to your place. That auction place looks pretty nice. I talked to Barb and they are getting snow today and schools were called off. They had a really nice vacation in Hawaii. Well thanks for the up date and love you guys, Mom and Dad
