My baby made me carrot cake from scratch. It also has a layer of fresh sliced strawberries between layers, and iced with caramel buttercreme frosting. Finished off with a drizzle of caramel, boy am I spoiled……

Nice Day for a BBQ. Luckily we had some family fly in from Indiana to make it. Ribs, drinks and Hawaiian music by the fire. Later…marshmallows! Brenda is going to try some Jumbos!

Got finished working “Shrek” over the weekend, and it was a more clever show than I imagined. May have helped getting paid to watch it instead of having to buy a ticket.
Rim Bear Ranch Trip
Just returned from a nice weekend at Rick and Jay’s place near Payson, AZ. Both of the guys are Volunteer Fireman and there was lots of talk of the fire danger and big fires in Arizona. Luckily we were there for the first day of the Monsoon, which made the locals happy for the rain. Jay turns 50 later this month and Rick made a big party for him.
