Just got back from a Warner Springs creek hike. Nice weather for it, a little breezy today. We came across some cows on the high trail, but Ginger did good to come back and get on the leash and we passed the cows with no problems. The creek is still flowing strong, still reaching the highway. On the way down we saw a big rattlesnake sunning itself. Ginger left it alone and it was docile.
Around the cabin we are working on spring weed-wacking. It gets harder every year. Roy and Mary Ann (the house below us) started work on their garage this week. Nicki seems to be winding down the rock work, but the bobcat was back this week. Unfortunately the rock on the road makes it kind of slippery like we thought it would. Maybe after next years rain it will settle in some.
Tim and Ed our out for a visit tonight.
