Sad day on the Mountain.

NORTH COUNTY — Joel Mendenhall, 30, a cattle rancher whose family’s roots in the Palomar Mountain area go back to the mid-1800s, was killed Monday in a heavy-equipment accident at a Mesa Grande ranch.

  1. They say that time heals all wounds, true to a certain extent. The one thing it doesn’t do is erase memory, whether good or bad. Recently my Father passed, someone that I hope I never forget. My deepest sympathy for your sons, husband, father, wonder man, all of which I know he was, passing. I DId not know him, but sure he was all the above, a beautiful person. My dad loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and at one time ranch worker, migrant worker. May time not erase his passed and always keep him in the present. GUS
