Cabin Life – July 7, 2013

Another day today over 100 degrees. Dennis worked in the garden this morning and Bob got the trim on West side of the house repainted. Yesterday Bob met David on Palomar to check out a property on East Grade Road. It was really nice, off-grid with a 220 volt solar system, giant garage, great home, 24 acres and a view toward Hot Springs Mountain (Warner Springs) and a big sky. Later the Realtor took us to see a house on Bailey Road on Palomar. The Bailey Palomar Resort is one of the oldest places on the Mountain, but Bob doesn’t remember going there. They were having a Barn Sale, with food and music. Saturday evening, Tom and David from Ramona came up for dinner. At least it cooled down by Sunset.

  1. We have warmed up in the 80’s but it is very humid. Had a few sprinkles this morning. I wouldn’t like the 100’s. You are gradually filling the tractor barn I see. That cake with the plum sauce looks very good. That resort looks neat. Not as neat as yours though. Love ya
