Cabin Life – Day of Local Support

On Easter we decided not to cook and have a late lunch/dinner at the County Line BBQ. On the way we stopped and had a glass of wine at Shadow Mountain on the patio. Alex and Pam asked us to help landscape around a new deck they are building. Then to dinner which was very good. We love the contrast at the County Line. You would never expect the good food you get there. They said they had been busy which is good. The special was a braised lamb on a bed of Israeli couscous primavera. We also got a ribeye steak dinner that we will be back for in the future! On the way home we finally made a wine tasting at Hawk Watch Winery before heading home.

    1. The signs were at the county line BBQ, we get a laugh out of how he makes it so welcoming…

  3. We keep wanting to go back to County Line and it sounds like it is still good food and keeping busy which is good. It sounds like you made a good choice for Easter Dinner. Sorry I missed your call, I had the cell phone off at church and forgot to turn it back on. I wouldn’t have heard it anyway with 19 people here. We had a very nice time and Karen helped with the preparation. Love you both…….
