Bottle Wall Light Working

Finally we got the bottle wall light working again.  The old switch-timer had burned out the old lights last summer.  Finally we got some new led lights (couldn’t find them until Christmas lights came out)  and a new switch and timer.  It looks great.  Really missed it.

2″ of Rain

Unusual for October, 2″ of rain in two days.  Looks to get nicer for Don and Marilyn’s visit next week.

Cabin Life – October 19, 2010

We’re in the middle of an unusual rainy week.  We had over 1″ of rain today and it’s still coming.  It’s supposed to clear up and be nice before Don and Marilyn get here this weekend.  Bob worked a show last weekend, but Dennis did get some sanding done on the bench.  We also used a temporary cover for the tractor and 4 wheel for the winter.  Yesterday, Bob got the new led lights in for the bottle wall.  He found out that the switch may have a short in it that caused the old lights to burn out.  Tomorrow he’ll get a new switch, timer and outlet for them.

Cabin Life – October 11, 2010

Our Posts are a little out of order, but here are some pictures of the weekend.  Bob’s Mom and Jim came on Thursday to spend the weekend.  We have a project of making a bench rail for the Guesthouse deck.  On Saturday, Shadow Mountain and Hawk Watch wineries had their 2nd Grape Stomp and Harvest Festival.  Mom entered the Grape Stomp and came in Third.  Bob worked for Alex and Pam as the Bartender.  Sunday we worked on getting he bench rail done.

Enjoying a nice sunset with wine and cheese with Louise and Jim. We are trying out the benches that we worked on this weekend. They just need 4 more coats of poly urathane.

Bobcat

Ginger was barking this morning and Dennis saw a bobcat near the house on his way to work.
