While the rest of the Country is starting Spring, we had another dusting of snow Friday night. It was gone by noon Saturday, but made for a nice hike near Warner Springs were the snow in the trees was melting and magical on the trail up the creek from the Fire Station.
On Sunday, we got another pile of brush burned. Then we worked on getting the knobs on the cabinets in the Guesthouse kitchen, and started putting the finish on the window trim and shelves. Last, we put in the supports for the shelves. It’s looking nice.

We went to see Winona Ryders head last night, after we saw Cirque Du Soleil. Both were excellent!

Marshmallow Time
To finish off a perfect day, its roasted marshmallows stuffed with chocalate. Kate is old school, and is going for the standard samores.
Evening Fire
Drinks, pizza, and a fire. Who could ask for anything more. Kathy,Kate, and Dennis went for a late afternoon hike, and Kathy and Bob went for a morning hike. Kathy is becoming a hiking finatic. She says let’s go steeper, and farther with no breaks.
Kathy and Kate visit
Trip to Borrego with Kathy and Kate on the second day of their visit. It was still kind of cool here, so we went for the heat. Today it’s 76 degrees and Thursday it’s supposed to be over 80 degrees, so the days are getting nicer. Dennis, Kathy and Kate are off to Julian for shopping. Bob needs to go to work. “Cirque du Soliel” this week.
