Eagle Fire Caused by Arson, Cal Fire Reports

“Cal Fire has officially ruled the Eagle Fire arson. They are not releasing any further details while the case is under investigation…”

Dennis says he heard that there was surveillance cameras that saw the person start it and that they may have arrested them already.

Visit to Borrego Springs Serpent Scupture

Friday afternoon, Bob and Ginger headed down into 100 degree heat in Borrego to meet Dennis for dinner. He was working at Borrego Springs Post Office because Postmaster had time off. Before dinner at Carlee’s we made a visit to the Desert Serpent Sculpture by Ricardo Breceda that has just been completed. Pretty neat!

More Pictures of Tim and Ed Tile job

Here’s some more pictures of yesterday’s tile job at Tim and Ed. Bob had to leave to clean the Timken around 9 pm. Both he and Dennis finished working around 10 pm. Then, on their way home RT 67 to Ramona was closed. We guess because of an accident, but nothing in the news about it. We had to drive back down to Lakeside, then through Barona to get home. Made it around Midnight.

Eagle Fire still burning toward Chihuahua Valley. Dennis worked in Borrego on Monday and saw it burning toward the desert where it will die out. We can’t really see any smoke anymore.
