We woke up this morning to the sound of two owls on the power pole out front. There is usually one hooting, but they seem to have found a mate. Maybe later we’ll see some little ones.
Down at the road during Ginger’s walk this morning, Bob saw Robert Hayden and Isle looking around. Last week was the start of Borrego Grapefruit season and Hayden has a truck a trailer to haul grapefruit to markets in town. Bob saw the rig last night when he came home from work, but it turned out that it was stolen later. Isle said she saw another truck with a over cab rack with it’s lights on around 9:30 pm. She thought she recognized the truck, plus she was alone and didn’t say anything to them. Turned out they may have stolen it. Hopefully it isn’t someone local, but we’ll keep and eye for the truck. It would be hard to know the rig is there from the highway, because Robert always brings it after dark and you don’t see it until you turn onto our road.
Bob looks forward to the grapefruit, but won’t eat it around the time he takes Lipitor.
Mike came up for Christmas day and we made a roast for dinner. We also got some small projects done. Thanks to all, for the love and support for Christmas. Now to the New Year!
