Found a soap dish with a bar of soap and a bottle of beer shampoo inside the wall. No gold !

Had to take apart the wall to the outside shower. We had a pipe freeze on New Years Eve, during our winter storm. The shark bite compression fitting cracked and came apart. I will never use those again on any exterior walls. It was even insulated and it still froze. We did get down to 24 degrees that night, that may be a record. It’s in the 70’s today, so we could of used the outside shower. ; – )

Ginger goes to the Vet.

Got a staff infection on her foot. Got her some treatment.

Dinner at The Ranch

A few weeks ago Ed and Linda told us about a place to eat in Valley Center that sounded good. It was in a ranch home of Nancy overlooking Hellhole Canyon Preserve. Open only on the weekends with only 5 tables and a chef named Chris, the menu of 5 entrees, sounded like something not to be missed. Saturday, Ed invited us along with Heinz and Anita to have dinner there. It was adventure finding the place in the dark, but well worth it, and a delicious meal in the cozy dining room. In the Spring and Summer there is seating outside with the a view of the mountains.
