Free Radio Joshua Tree
New Internet Radio from Joshua Tree launched today. I’m going to check it out. I like the music scene in Joshua Tree and they say their will be more than just music. There’s supposed to be a new show “Tiki Time” playing the best in classic and modern Exotica starting at 5 pm Pacific this Friday, March 22.

Getting Ready for the Irish Holiday
Making the soda bread for my “Big Gay” Irish Husband (an inside joke; check out the link for an event happening today my niece misunderstood as political). They say the bread is better a little stale so I’m making it this morning before going to work. No raisins! Here’s a simple recipe:

Warner Springs Ranch has a new Owner
Dennis reports that Pacific Hospitality Group, Inc. has won the auction for the sale of Warner Springs Ranch. The judge did allow additional bidding but the price and terms from Pacific Hospitality were better than anyone else. Looks to be a 30 day escrow with the Pacific Hospitality saying they want to get the the place up and running soon. Hopefully later there will be an article about thier plans, but they do want the Golf Course to be open as well as the gas station and store. There was talk of expanding the cafe and other facilities.
Pacific Hospitality Group runs the Hacienda Hotel in Old Town and made investment in Heritage Park. They have shown a commitment to tradition and history. The people in Los Tules, Warner Springs were hoping this company would win the bid.
Pacific Hospitality Group, Inc. bought Salt Creek Golf Course in Chula Vista last year. Earlier they helped with the restoration of Temple Beth Israel in Old Town.
