Went to a nice cocktail bar called Guau (Wolf) and on the way saw some kind of religious procession with drumming, incense, and a marching band. We were not sure what it was for. Seemed genuine. Bob had a Ginebra and Tonic with Larious Spanish Gin. Many people drink this and it was refreshing. Dennis did a Vodka Tonic and Mike a White Wine. Then we walked to a restaurant Tim said a client had told him about, but when we got there it was very crowded. In fact all of this area of Madrid was packed with people. Locals, tourists, a big protest…it was crazy. After walking around we ended up back by our place and had a bite to eat.
Now the long flight home. It will be nice to be back.
