The Neighborhood has Gone to Pot!

My investigation of a bright light we have been seeing below our property led to the discovery of a huge pot growing operation.  They certainly aren’t trying to keep it secret with the giant lights at night.  It seems weird though that the lights were still on during the day.  Looks like the plants haven’t germinated yet, so maybe they need 24 hour boost of light.  That might be very expensive though when they get their first electric bill.  Didn’t look like they had solar.

Not sure this is really legal in California.  I thought you could grow 12 plants at home.  This seems way more than that.

Sheriff: 80-year-old woman fired gun in Warner Springs mobile home park

My new place of work at the start of my second week working there.

“An 80-year-old woman shot herself in the leg as she was firing a gun at another resident in a Warner Springs mobile home park Tuesday morning, sheriff’s officials said.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting at the Stone Ridge mobile home park on state Route 79 shortly before 8 a.m. Witnesses said the woman shot multiple times at a man inside the park but none of the shots hit him, said sheriff’s Lt. Matthew Glisson.”

Substation gets a new building

SDG&E is upgrading the power substation near the turnoff to Borrego.  Our power went out this week.  Maybe this was why.
