Ginger checks out oak that fell at Second Chance

We are making “corned beef” and cabbage and Louise and Jim are coming up.

It’s been awhile since we posted a recipe.  This one we made last night and it was hearty and great for a fall evening. See recipe in the list on the site.

Even with the heat and rain (.7″ total) we were able to continue with the painting project at the Guesthouse, getting the under deck painted.

And we also got the pad poured for the air conditioner for the new room at the A-Frame.

Sunday afternoon, so far almost a half inch.  We were on our break from painting.  Our laundry is soaked.

Nice pictures of Mike that capture his spirit.  Rest in peace dear friend. We miss you.
